Late Shri Hira Singh Dev Kange alias Kangla Manjhi
INTRODUCTION
Shri Manjhi Antarrashtriya Samajwad Adiwasi Kisan Sainik Sanstha (Kangla Manjhi Sanstha) was founded by Shri Hira Singh Dev Kange alias "Kangla Manjhi Sarkar" in 1910. Though, since 1951 the organization has truly revealed to the world. Since 1951 the organization began the tradition of giving badges, cross belt etc. to its members who commonly known as "Kangla Manjhi Sainik". Badge number 1, of he organization was presented to the first prime minister of India, Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru and badge number 2, was presented to India's first lady prime minister Mrs. Indira Gandhi. The color of the uniform of the organization is "Khaki" . Kangla Manjhi had established this organization to make the tribal people (aboriginal people) aware of their rights. He himself was related to tribal community, so he could understand their pain very well.
Akhil Bhartiya Mata Dantewadin Samaj Samiti
Rajmata smt. Phulwadevi Kange has established an another institution 'Akhil Bhartiya Mata Dantewadin Samaj Samiti' in 1993. It is registered under the Societies Registration Act. The head office of this institution is also in Delhi. It is a social institution. Its purpose is, to help the poor tribal people as possible, to help tribal children in getting education, to make aware to the rural people about the various development schemes so that they can strengthen their economic situation. Akhil Bhartiya Mata Dantewadin Samaj Samiti is a subsidiary of Shri Manjhi Antarrashtriya Samajwad Adiwasi Kisan Sainik Sanstha.
